To assign member types to your members, you can do it one at on time on their member screen, or you can do them all together by going to Financial > Dues Process > 2. Initialize Dues in the menu. There, you will see a screen like this:
Notice that members without a member type set are highlighted in yellow. For each member requiring a member type, select the appropriate member type from the pull-down selector. When you're done, or just need to take a break, click the update button at the bottom of the form.
If any members have outstanding dues. You can enter the outstanding amount in the appropriate column. They will be attributed to the year in parenthesis next to the field. Do not use this method to setup the current year for all members: there's a much faster method on the next screen in the menu.
