Deliverable = received by email provider, whether they send it to the email inbox or not.
Undeliverable = email provider bounces it back and notifies us. When an email is undeliverable, the database will highlight the email and will
A blackboxed email is Deliverable but never sent all the way to the intended email address. The email provider has somehow blocked it from completing its path, but without any transparency. This is much more difficult because the email provider is not communicating this blacklisting to the sender.
Delivered but not found in inbox = these emails are delivered, but found in spam, trash, or another "blocked" list. The member must resolve this by adding the firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org emails to their contact or safe lists.
Each email provider has different instructions on how to whitelist an email.
- We have a known issue with many comcast emails (emails are deliverable, but not being received - comcast is blocking them from reaching their email boxes).
- Please notify comcast that you wish to receive these emails and be sure to add them to your whitelist/safe emails.
